GSC Research Symposium--March 25-26, 2008

The Symposium, organized on the lines of a conference, with graduate and undergraduate participants, will serve as a platform for the university community to become aware of the body of research being carried out in various departments. The value of inter-disciplinary research cannot be underestimated and this exposure to diverse and unconventional approaches to scientific and academic study will serve not just to broaden the minds of students, but also offer them increased chances of professional success.

The main events of this symposium will be a Poster Presentation Session, a Research Colloquium and several ˜lunch and learn sessions. Through these sessions we hope to offer students, faculty and administrators fora for stimulating discussion and generation of new idea. Also scheduled will be a keynote presentation as a highlight to the event.
